TWO WAYS TO RUN IT
One entry per person. Pick the distance, register, and turn up ready.
WHAT'S ON AT THE SAVANNAH
The finish line is the start of the lime. Bring the family.
Bouncy castle
Somewhere for the children to burn off what's left after the 1K.
Face painting
The paint shows up early — it wouldn't be a WE event otherwise.
Giveaways
Prizes and giveaways on the day for runners and supporters.
All paces, all ages
Run it, jog it or walk it. Nobody is being timed out of the party.
HOW TO REGISTER
Register online on this site — pick your distance, fill in your details and pay by card or bank transfer. Card payments run through WiPay's secure page and are charged in Trinidad and Tobago dollars. Bank transfer entries are confirmed once your proof of payment is uploaded.
You can also enter through Finish Line Events, or send a WhatsApp message to the band on +1 (868) 681-9337.
Refund & bib collection policy
I understand that registration fees are non-refundable and that bibs must be collected during the advertised dates, times and locations only. If I miss bib collection, I forfeit my bib and entry with no refund, credit or transfer.
BEFORE YOU ENTER
When and where is the WE J'ouvert 1K and 5K?
Saturday 24 October 2026 at the Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Start times: the 1K Run/Walk at 3:30 PM, and the 5K Run/Walk at 4:30 PM.
How much does it cost to enter?
1K Run/Walk is TT$130 (about US$19.12), and 5K Run/Walk is TT$150 (about US$22.06). Entry is per person and is paid when you register.
Do I have to run the whole thing?
No. Both distances are run or walk. All paces, all ages, all vibes — this is a road lime with a start line, not a qualifying race.
Can children take part?
Yes. The 1K is the family-friendly distance, and there is a bouncy castle and face painting at the Queen's Park Savannah on the day.
How do I register?
Register online at https://wejouvertband.com/register, through Finish Line Events, or send a WhatsApp message to the band on +1 (868) 681-9337.
How can I pay?
By card or by bank transfer. Card payments go through WiPay's secure page and are charged in Trinidad and Tobago dollars; bank transfer registrations are confirmed once you upload your proof of payment.
Is the entry fee refundable?
No. Entry fees are non-refundable, and bibs must be collected during the advertised dates, times and locations only. Miss bib collection and both the bib and the entry are forfeited, with no refund, credit or transfer.
Where and when do I collect my race bib?
Bibs are collected in person during the collection dates, times and locations advertised before race day — registrants are notified of these. Bibs missed at collection are forfeited along with the entry, with no refund, credit or transfer.
Who organises the race?
WE J'ouvert Band, the all-inclusive J'ouvert band based in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on the road since 2018.
Is this part of Carnival?
No. This is a standalone road race in October. WE J'ouvert's Carnival event is J'ouvert morning itself, which runs before dawn on Carnival Monday in February.
RUN · VIBE · REPEAT
Entries are open from TT$130. Saturday 24 October 2026 at the Queen's Park Savannah.
